Big Girl Bed..

Tonight is the big night. Brooklyn's first night sleeping in a big girl bed. In an effort to make it an exciting transition we decided to get all new sheets and PJ's for the occasion. Brooklyn has shown an interest in Tinkerbell so we let her pick out the bedding and jammies.

Boo showing off her cute bed and PJ's. She was so excited to be a big girl!
So sweet and quiet! :)

Well the night was what I would consider a success. She only got out of bed one time and it only took 1 1/2 hours to go to sleep. Over all it was a fairly low stress night. We are so proud of Brooklyn for being such a big girl! We love you!!!

Easter Fun...

This was the first year Brooklyn really noticed or cared about hunting for eggs. This is also the first year Londyn realized Easter wasn't only about eggs and candy. All in all it was a special year of firsts for the Lane's. We are all so thankful for the Sacrifices Christ made so we could return to him one day.

Let the hunt begin!

The Easter bunny brought mostly money.

Two beautiful girls!

What a lovely family!!

Another hunt...I wonder how many eggs I will get??

A card from Grandma Venna & Papa...They always remember the grandkids on every holiday. We are  so thankful for them!

And the Easter feast! YUM!

Cambrie was lucky enough to get to have her Birthday on such a special day. I hope Cambrie had a great time and was got everything she wanted. She is such a sweet and joyful girl. Happy Birthday Cam!

Londyn and her horses..

For at least a year or more Londyn has moved on from her princess obsession to a horse one. When the movie Secretariat came out Londyn could not wait to see it. I wasn't sure the movie would capture her attention but I was wrong. She was so excited to see the horse race and was wondering if he would win throughout each race, all the while cheering him on the entire time. Now that some time had past I thought she would have forgotten or moved on to something else. As you can see from the picture below I was wrong. Londyn loves to watch racing on tv and is always cheering on the prettiest horse. She is even hoping to see Secritariat one day. Although that's not likely to happen but I am sure she will see where that horse won all his races.

The hats....

Brooklyn is always walking around putting on any hat or sunglasses she can find. Apparently she came across the hood of her winter coat so she decided she was going to school. She put on her hat and backpack and she was off. She even gave me a hug and a kiss, after all that's what we do every morning when we say goodbye. What a funny girl. Although, this has nothing to do with this post I still wanted to document the other funny Boo said. Everyday we pass a set of train tracks on her way to school and we often get the chance to see the frontrunner pass by. Well the other day as the train flew by Boo dedicided the train was off to choo choo train school with Thomas. These kids are always thinkin'!

Treehouse field trip

This was Londyn's first field trip in elementary. Although she has been to the treehouse before so was extra excited because Jessica (Londyn's "Nanny") was able to come along. From the looks of the pictures Londyn had a blast. Thank you Jessica for all you do for us!

Londyn and her school friend making silly faces.

Londyn just LOVES spending time with Jessica!

Making beautiful wands! Londyn made a purple one because she said she knows how much I love the color purple. She is always so thoughtful!

The finished product. BEAUTIFUL!

Inside the T-Pee

This area of the museum is awesome for any child that likes to make noise, the music/drum area!

Now that's a cute hat!

Londyn absolutely loves, loves, loves horses!

MMMM...looks delicious...I will have to see if Londyn will make dinner at home too.

There's my cowgirl!

Now this is a horse I can get used too!

Londyn looks right at home down on the farm!
