Londyn and Jessica

Londyn got the pleasure of spending some time at Jessica's wedding. Jessica is Londyn's most amazing, loving, caring, patient, and special nanny. She took extra special care of Londyn and made every effort to include Londyn in the planning of Her special day. We are so thankful for Jessica and the time she spent caring for our sweet daughter. We hope nothing but joy and happiness to her and her new family. We love her and will miss her dearly.

Bird's Nest Blueprint

We have a little birds nest in our tree with brand new baby Robins in it. Londyn thought it would be nice to create another bigger nest for the bird family. She worked and worked but the nest was just not working out for her. She then decided she needed to draw a blueprint of a new bird nest so she could see what she needed to do different. Do we have a future engineer on our hands?? Her mind is always going.

As you can see she has drawn the bird, nest, and tree as if she planned how it should look in the tree. This girl never fail to surprise me. We sure love that about her!

Cuddles with Daddy

Daddy is always being the amazing Daddy that he is by playing with the girls until they are beat. So they all decided to calm and rest together. I guess moving to a bigger chair didn't cross anyone's mind. I couldn't resist the sweetest picture. I just love them all!

The airplane museum

Again there was more rain so what do you do when you can't enjoy the sun...Go to a museum. This would be one of Daddy's favorite museums because he loves airplanes and guns. 

This is the airplane Daddy spends his days repairing. Londyn asks quite often if he is done fixing the airplane. Sadly, Daddy tells her no every time.

As Daddy calls it, One Bad Mamma Jamma! This is the airplane Daddy worked on while serving our country in the Navy. Thank you Daddy for your service!

Well by this  point Mommy wasn't as excited to be at an airplane museum but I did enjoy some time with my family! It's always better than working!

Family cookie night

Well with all this rain we have had we haven't been able to spend much time outside and so that means it's time to make some cookies! The girls just love to help out in the kitchen whenever possible so what better way than this. 

Here is the best part, if you ask me!

One Lucky Mom!!

This Mother's day felt extra special for me. My children made me some of the nicest thing and made extra effort not to fight that I felt like the queen of all mothers. Londyn was the sweetest! She gave me a heart shaped box filled with kisses. Everytime I open the box she would come kiss me. Brooklyn made a cute little song book for us to sing along too. I truly enjoyed my day! I love my children and LOVE being their mom. I am so thankful for everything about my kids. There are times when they can challenge me but I know that they are making me a stronger better mom. I hope they will look back on their lives and know they were loved and cared for deeply!

I would also like to say how blessed I am for having the mom I do! She is so supportive and caring and I would be completely lost without her. She has taught me so much and helped me to be a better mom. She always shows such compassion and patience, that I can only hope to have half of what she has. My child are so lucky to have her as their Grandma Benna (as boo would say). They will forever carry fond memories of the sleepovers, baking and just all around fun Grandma has with them. I love you more that words can say! Thank you so much for everything! Mothers are AWESOME!

Girls Night

I got the opportunity to spend a night with just Londyn and it was a blast. We first went to dinner with April and Abbie and then went to the play Annie. I was really worried that Londyn would get bored part way through but she just sat there and watch the whole thing in awe. I had such a special night with her and look forward to many more with both my girls! I love you Londyn!

Getting Married??

Londyn's  nanny Jessica is currently in the process of planning her wedding and has included Londyn in a lot of the planning. Londyn has also been watching the Royal Wedding coverage so now Londyn has had wedding on the brain for the last few weeks. This is Londyn pretending to be married. She takes a blanket and wraps it around herself and has Brooklyn carry the train behind her. Londyn also put together her own flower arrangement and pretends to throw it to all the single ladies.
