Pool Time fun

What's summer without the pool? This year was the first year Brooklyn really knew what was going on and she has a blast. It took her a long time to get used to the pool but once she realized how much fun it is she was all over the place just like her "fish" for a sister. All in all it was an awesome time at the pool!
There's Londyn at the top of the big slide. She was finally tall enough this year to go. Of course my camera is too slow to get her going down but she had a blast! This girl has no fear with adventure!

Boo's first time down the slide and she was all smiles and of course she had to go again and again. Thanks to daddy she got that wish.

Our little fish.

Daddy is definitely the fun one at the pool. He always swings, throws and chasing the girls around. He is so much fun and we love him for that!

Duct Tape Fashion show

At the Youth Center where Londyn is spending the summer they have the opportunity to do various fun mini camps. Londyn chose as one of her duct tape fashion. They learned to draw a sketch of their dress they wanted to make for the end of the camps fashion show. They also worked very hard for 2 weeks making their dresses and accessories to go along with it. Here is the end result.
All the little feet patiently waiting to show the eager parents and classmates.

There she is...what an awesome dress she made. It even has a beautiful train and a clutch purse.

Do we have a future model on our hands?

We are so proud of her for taking the time and effort to put together such a fun dress.

Strike a pose!

All her friends that came to give her a hug when the fashion show was over.

We had to stop and show Grandma and Papa.
Matt and I really enjoyed seeing her in this fashion show. Londyn absolutely loves clothes and everything about them so this was a perfect fit for her. We are so proud of you Londyn! We love you very much.

The things they say...

The things kids say sometimes just make you shake your head and laugh. For years Londyn has used a southern accent when she wants to be silly. I'm not exactly sure why or where she has heard but it can be pretty funny. The other day Brooklyn tooted and Londyn said (in a southern accent), "Brooklyn you sound just like a pig jumpin' on a trampoline." I love those girls and it's moments like this that reminds me how special they truly are.

Londyn in her southern style hat she made out of duct tape. The hat actually turned out really cute.

Sometimes Life is just plain misc...

I've had several picture of things that don't really have a purpose but I couldn't go without them. Everyday life can be so interesting and so very tiring as we can see in the pictures below.
Awe...gotta love this face...Brooklyn said "I so bootiful mom!"

She is a ballerina priate. I guess she will look so pretty taking all the ships gold.

How sweet is this! They were just enjoying the movie together.

Boo loves to play with her dad!

Londyn made this sleep mask at the Youth Center where she is spending her summer. She really does sleep with this. But doesn't she look like a total Diva with a flower, necklace, bracelet and chaufer??

Still has the mask..

All worn out from this weekend...this was a Monday morning.

One of the girls favorite thing is to cuddle with their Daddy.

The end of an era..

Ever since the Boys have read the Harry Potter books, about 5 years ago, we have all made it a point to go see the movies together. This was the final chapter of the Harry Potter series so I had to document the fun. It was a bittersweet ending for me as I have thoroughly enjoyed spending some time with Colten and Cooper and I'm sad to see them grow so quickly. I hope these are fond memories they will keep for many years to come. Thanks for all the fun Boys, I love you guys!

4th of July Weekend fun

The Fourth of July weekend started out with what else but water fun. Well we managed to talk the Daddy's (Matt and Joe) into joining the fun. What a great time had by all! We then had a delicious family dinner and finished it off with 'smores and fireworks. What more could we ask for? I would like to thank all the people currently serving, those who served and those who lost their lives to give me and my family all the freedoms we have today. Without their sacrifice where would we? That's not something I would like to find out!

The guys seems to go pretty far on the slip-n-slide. Looks like we need a longer slide!

Look at those girls having so much fun!

Now that's a stud!

Alexis...She is so dang cute!

Good times with good friends.

hmmm....not sure about this picture but I'm going to say the must be really good friend.

On the fourth we got to spend some time at Grandma and Papa's enjoying more water fun and a delicious dinner. It's always nice to get the family together.

Colten is a total teenager now...just lounges around.

Good Times with the Lowe's

A few times throughout the year we get the pleasure of spending some time with the Lowe Family. We are both very busy so when we finally get together it is always great fun. We chat, eat and watch the kids play and play. I am so thankful for my long lasting friendship with Yvonne. We have been friend for pretty close to 30 years and I am looking forward to continuing that friendship for the next 30.
Having a good time going for rides in the golf cart.
