Boo's First Swim Lesson

Although we have said many times Boo is the only kid who could actually drown herself (because she would rather spend more time swimming under water than actually breathing) we figured we'd better get her in some lessons. So here is her first lesson.

AHHH...Disneyland for Adults.. VEGAS!!

We figured we would take advantage of furlough and take a mini vacation for adults. When I think Adult vacation what better place then VEGAS!! It was an amazingly relaxing trip where we ate good food, watch good shows and just enjoyed each others company.
This is the inside of our hotel.

Took this for my mom. Johnny Depp

Of course I had to hide Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt looks much better without her.

Even in wax he looks sexy.

What's that?? You need another bunny??

What's the Jerry Springer show without a domestic?

They are like twins ;-)

West Side!!!

Nice Hair

Help!!! Help!!

This dress was made of chocolate... YUM!

This is the worlds largest chocolate fountain

Of course we had to bring gifts back to the kids. Londyn has wanted to go to Paris for a ver y long time so we brought a little of Paris to her.

Boo LOVES her tiger.. LA LA is her name.

The Living Planet Aquarium

It's always fun to show the kids all the different things that are in the world. The ocean truly is amazing and provides so much to learn and see. We all loved looking at the different fish, octopus, sting ray, jelly fish and of course the "Nemo" fish tank.

Ohhh Nooo Something's got my kiddos!

Look over yander....

The penguins were so much fun to watch. They would hop right out of the water and then turn around and jump right back in. It was a great time.

Dad and his girls! So sweet

Back to Nature

We got the opportunity to enjoy some time with Matt's childhood friend Marshall. We wanted to show him around Utah a little so we figured a ride up the gondola at Snowbasin will give him an amazing view. The mountains of Utah have always meant I was home and they never cease to amaze me.

Matt and Marshall

Oh how I love my family!

Turns out disc golf is a lot harder then it looks.

Mom got a little nervous when the gondola bounced but all in all the ride was very nice and relaxing

First Time Fishing

This was Brooklyn's first time fishing and Londyn's second. I was a little worried that they would get bored or not like touching any of the gross stuff (since well, I don't like touching any of the gross stuff) but it appears to have been a success. They both jumped right in and caught a bunch of fish and had no problem touching the fish to throw them back in the water.

Mom's Retirement

Well it's that time, time for retirement. I know it was not an easy decision to make especially considering Mom work over 40 years for the I.R.S but we got the opportunity to see where Mom spent most of those years. It was apparent that she touched many lives in her 40 years there. We enjoyed visiting with the many people that came out for her "goodbye". I am so proud of my mom for all the hard work she put in over the years. She has taught me the value of hard work and given me a strong work ethic. She is an amazing person and We love her dearly.

It was so nice to see Grandma and Grandpa Gailey come out to Mom's retirement.

Let's go Bee's!

This is Londyn and Brooklyn's first Salt Lake Bee's game and it looks to be a hit! They had fireworks after the game and Brooklyn loved everyone of them. It was a great time! I love seeing all these smiles.
